The following links provide information about the generation of 'clean' electricity through solar, wind or other renewable generation sources. Projects less than 10kW are classified as microFIT, while larger ones are FIT (Feed-In Tariff) projects:
- Please visit the Ontario Power Authority’s (OPA) MicroFIT website at
www.microfit.powerauthority.on.ca for program information, to complete an on-line

Grimsby Power is not responsible for any tax consequences resulting from the customer failing to inform Grimsby Power about changes in tax status.
- Apply for a generator account in person with Grimsby Power. The current monthly charge is $5.25 but is subject to change as directed by the Ontario Energy Board.
- Grimsby Power will contact the OPA and provide connection details.
